At 25 years old, I was leading 50 people and I felt like an imposter.
You can probably relate to this…
You’ve just been promoted to a new role.
You’ve got a lot more responsibility at work.
You’ve started a new business.
…and you feel a little anxious everyday.
Are you making the right decisions?
Did you handle the conversation the best way you could have?
Would your team figure out you’re not as strong as you project?
I felt the same way as a first time leader.
Until eventually I understood that leadership was a skill.
And I resolved to learn this.
I poured into the books. Practicing. Failing. Learning.
Long story short, I learned to be a better leader and by the age of 27, I’d built my business to 80 people and sold it in a multi 8 figure deal.
In doing this, I learnt 10 harsh leadership lessons by making 10, very common, leadership mistakes.
I’ve compiled all those in The First-Time Leaders Handbook.
